I would love to see that game Iga pitched, it looked like SotN 2 judging by the trailer and Alucard's appearance. Would be nice if it was going to be 2.5D or use sprites.

The "Alucardvania" would reuse his 3D model from Judgment.

You guys see this yet?

Confirmed 12 chapters, and each chapter holds multiple missions/levels.

It looks pretty awesome actually. I see some more traditional platforming segments, like collapsing floors and jumping from one place to another. Cool whip swinging parts. It also has some new stuff scattered around. The atmosphere and design looks spot on.

I thought he confirmed that the theme was in the game and I never read anywhere he said that the waterfall theme was in the gameplay video of the clock tower level.
So where is the proof for this?

Right here.

Can someone cue either that pic of Obama in tears or of Orson Welles clapping furiously in Citizen Kane? Both pretty accurately describe my feelings now.

I think dance of pales was put there by the gamervision.com (or whoever uploaded the video) like background music. I doubt it was playing in the background where the interview took place... though maybe I'm wrong.

Whatever the reason, it's good music. That said, the new footage looks fantastic. The game really does look like a lot of fun. I just plowed through Symphony of the Night the other night and I'm ready for even more Castlevania. The scenery looks absolutely stunning, the platforming is DEFINITELY there, and the bestiary of monsters will no doubt be impressive. Now all I have to do is put 5 bucks down on this sucker and wait it out until October.

I'm loving the 2.5 Platfforming parts  ;D
And I see something curious, why the hell devs haven't thought about 2D gameplay with actual deep of field? as you can see in the vid, in the 2D section, there's also dept but still 2D and i think it looks great! :D

I keep smiling at all the 2D parts, it really does look great. I wonder if an entire game like that would work?
