You know I just had a thought.

What if the castle we've seen isn't the real castle? What if there's more? I feel like we haven't even seen half the game yet.

Pretty sure there is more than 1 castle. I think that was even confirmed somewhere.

Wow... just.. wow!
I have a feeling I'm gonna love this game. Poor little birdie though  ;D

HOWEVER; I sometimes feel that 3D action games today have enemies with far too much health. Every enemy turns into a mini boss battle. Though I can't think of any other way to do it... One-hit-kills are classic Castlevania stuff, but this is 2010 so I guess I'll just have to accept it.

Anyway, the level design is among the best and most varied I've seen on this generation of consoles. It basically looks (dare I say it?) PERFECT.

Quote from: Kotaku comments
The story so far: Ezio Auditore finally got the glove of the Prince of Persia and is trained by Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez. He embarks in the Dante's inferno where he meets a female version of the Coppola's Dracula that wants to play chess with death. During his travel he has to face Baba Yaga, Goliath from Disney's Gargoyles and a My little Pony. In the end he aquires Majora's Mask and after a travel with Gwaihir he can finally face the Shadow of Colossus.

I love this quote, it's awesome.

I think you can probably disable the glowing edges, the TimedEvent text "Help" messages, and other stuff, in the options.
I'm saying this because I'd probably wanna see the edges, but I know that once I've gone through the game, I won't wanna.

Sort of the "Help" that you can disable, in Metroid Prime, etc.

I'm not gonna watch anymore gameplay videos, including that one. The game is a little more than 2 weeks away, don't wanna get spoiled too much!

I hear you. I kinda regret watching all those videos  :-\ THough not really cause they were fab! But still, I think I'm gonna stay away from this thread now, not talking about the game, not thinking about it, not google it... I just want to play it NAOW!

I've noticed that the circle mechanic is associated exclusively with grab & latch moves.
This might explain why some enemies like the swordmasters are taken out without the circle if the finishing moves don't use a grab or whip.

Also, the earlier remarks about the game being touted as a 'dark' tale but having so many bright environments... well, a tale being dark has nothing to do with the environments and all to do with the mood and tone of the story. And I don't know about you guys but if I were stuck climbing a tower with blood-thirsty goblins and a giant, naked, troll thing I'd be shitting bricks.

They got rid of the glowing ledges! YES!
I noticed that! Maybe you can switch the hints on and off?

I'm still pretty amazed with how rich and detailed the environments seem to be. It's a pretty reassuring feeling. Good to see a lot of time and money being spent on this one.  ;D
