Castlevania: Lament of Shadows, the stunning prequel to Lords of Shadow!
Play as Zobek, Cornell, and Carmilla as they journey the countryside to stop the sorcerer who sold his soul to the devil, Walter Bernhard!
CV3 references all around dipped in the Guillermo del Toro-LOTR inspired setting we all love! Also, meet Sypha, Grant, and Alucard Bernhard as miscellaneous NPCs. fun fun fun!

Coming 2014!

Actually it does sound pretty fun, If that were for PC I would totally buy it

I also don't understand why everyone wanted the God Mask so badly. They make it out to be this totally awesome weapon and it just lets you see ghosts more clearly. It's like starting a war over a pair of 3D glasses.

Because if you used the mask you would see the world in God eyes, which means you would become Buddha 2.0 without the effort

Yea I was all excited like, "Hez gon b a vampire! whooo!"

To be continued

 :-\

The ending was rather abrupt and came unexpectedly. 'Resurrection' will probably address a lot of our questions. Someone help me jog my memory...'Resurrection' is going to deal with the games epilogue, right? I think I remember reading that. If so, I wonder how they will tie the 2 dlc together if one is in the past and the other is in the future. Maybe they'll do a time jump or pull a Legacy of Kain and answer questions of the future with actions in the past.

Of course not, Resurrection is going to be placed after reverie, Cox confirmed we're not seeing anything related to the epilogue(modern times) anytime soon, I bet for a revisit to that story arc in 2 or so more games

Everything comes full circle

If Gabriel defeats the Forgotten One in the past (where he currently is now) doesn't that mean that he would change time?  :-\

According to one of the brotherhood scrolls, the time machine's power is temporary(you can see the hands on the clock winding down indicating that it wont last long) and only affects the surrounding area (mainly the portal tower) so they're still in they're present time. So by the time Gabriel defeats the forgotton One the tower will return in it's present state of being destroyed.

Edit: I just realized something, now that Gabriel has undead powers, wouldn't that mean that using the combat cross would be dangerous to him now?

The Combat Cross just seems to be a weapon, not imbued with holy powers or anything of the sort. Just a really fancy weapon. Can't wait to mist dodge all over the place as Vampire Gabriel.

oh i forgot about the thing nagumo said

Gabriel doesn't care about the damage the whip is doing and continue to wields it like the badass that he is.  :)

Its plenty of an excuse.

Quote
Because if you used the mask you would see the world in God eyes, which means you would become Buddha 2.0 without the effort
because everyone thought that the mask WAS a weapon. Something which would grant them God's powers, and which could bring back the dead.

Even Satan thought it was some sort of "make you all powerful" device. Which is why he wore it in the fight. He thought it would give him Godly powers enough to challenge God himself.

On the whip-

Only the chain whip part was forged with Holy water. The cross part is just fine.
Laura and Gabriel arrive in the deepest cave of the castle and... they find IGA.

Yes, just leaving it behind would also refrain me from just going back to pick up the most powerful object in the universe that would resolve all my problems since nothing beats turning into a vampire!

Forget the God Mask --that whole thing was a sham.  I wonder if Gabriel picked up the Devil Mask...  Might be fun to use it in the Final DLC battle...
