Reading all these responses is really starting to put things in perspective. Destroying my collection will probably be the only way to lift this curse the series has had over me for 25 years. I mean if Konami doesn't care about Castlevania enough even on the milestone anniversary then what's the point...

Should I just throw it all in a bonfire or take individual games/items & smash them to pieces with a sledgehammer?

Haha I just noticed something about Konami's name. In French it sounds like "conami", which  can be translated to "stupid friend".

and maybe if I videotape it, Konami execs or Cox will see it and say "what have we done" and a new era of CV will open up that's dedicated to the fans to ensure nothing like what i've done will ever happen again

Man, people here sure do like to bitch.

And Flame, if you're gonna smash your Cv stuff, PLEASE give me the LoS related items. I say give your stuff to people who can appreciate it. That way, even if you've decided to entirely quit on this series, the money and time you've spent will still have been for a good cause since you'd be making others happy.

Just smashing it all out of spite is a bit selfish. IMHO that is.
