I really wish now we'll suddenly get Famitsu scans about a Belmont's Revenge Rebirth or something, because it's almost the game's 20th anniversary, just like they did with Adventure. That would be great.

This E3 was even more terrible for Castlevania then the previous two. During the next one they probably announce the Lords of Shadow  sequel, ugh.

Well, Dave Cox said at one point that he didn't want LoS to have a sequel. Apparently he'd rather make another non-canon Castlevania.

Course, I can't find the page I read this on anymore. Not that I even bothered looking. I'll find it eventually.

I'd... actually approve of that more than a straight up LoS sequel. Not holding my breath though.

Hopefully. I've played the hell out of every existing official CV game. It's not fun resorting to homebrews when 70% of them aren't even polished. Serio's Castlevania Fighter, Esco's Symphony Hack (demo), Castlevania Chronicles: Dracula's Curse, Super Castlevania III, and Simon's Quest ReVamp are the only ones I can think of that actually kept me playing.

So yeah. Here's to a new CV at E3.

LOL, this. I'm very disappointed not to hear anything about Castlevania other than a DLC mention. I'm still holding hope that they are saving it for E3 as a surprise but I'm not holding my breath.

But I don't think you should just give up on a company just cuz they aren't releasing a game you want badly. It's just that look clearly at this: the Contra and Metal Gear series (what's plural for series?) are far more popular nowadays than Castlevania (though Castlevania has a bigger fanbase, get that). It's only natural for a company (any company) to go for the bigger market games.

If there's any company people should give up on (in some ways) it should be Capcom. What with them giving both Devil May Cry and Resident Evil to American companies. Their biggest franchises. Then they lost a lot of sales when they decided to not put Leon in the 3DS game coming out. (<-------Trust me, that lost them a lot of sales. They lost my sale though cuz I don't have a 3DS)
