We have a few games coming to DS (mainly first party, like Kirby, Layton 4 and some 3rds), and I know some announces can still be made for it (localizations of games that are released already in Japan, like Ninokuni, Ace Attorney 2...). But what you guys have to understand is that the DS isn't simply the actual platform. The 3DS is already there, you guys like it or not. It makes more sense for them to release it there.

The PSP is still going strong in Japan, so that can be a platform of choice. But it's already dead in the west, people don't buy games for it in the west, even if the hardware sells.

And Wiiware is limited crap. Yeah, we saw Rebirth and such... but it could be even better if they released it on PSN/XLBA.

So yeah, they'll release the game where they think they can make more money from.

Yeah, It does makes sense for them to release the game (IF they ever gonna make one for the 25th Anniversary) to the new-current gen handheld/console.

I'm running with USA releases, since Pemburu Vampir shoe horned in Okamiden with it. Either way though...

You really should try the console version of BlazBlue. It's far superior in just about every fashion.

I'd imagine. The only other version I've played of BlazBlue is the arcade version, though not for long since I'm (gasp) poor.

I'll buy it eventually, since I don't like forking out money for fighting games (I tend to get bored quickly with them unless I'm playing with someone else).

It probably won't be the tribute for the 25th Anniversary, but current 3DS owners will be able to download 10 free NES games on August 12th when the 3DS drops in price. The full list of games hasn't been announced yet but it's possible Castlevania could appear.

What i really want to see is the Demon Castle War in game form. If not that then a Dracula's Curse remake.
