So, it's the same enemy recycled, with new designs and moves.
The key point - it's the same enemy with different design and sprites.
There are not recylced and that's completely OK with me.
You wasn't clear about what you wanted.

Well, i still call it recycle, since, even though it isn't the same sprite, it's the same enemy, because he wasn't a skeleton that turned to a knight. So basically it's still recycled.

Hopes and Dreams....

I hope Konami is gracious enough to restore Akumajo Dracula.

Mirror of Fate looks like a love letter...  2-D Gameplay...  Superior Quality (at least by portable standards)...  And it also appears to respect Akumajo Dracula above and beyond the original LoS...  I really hope they don't f*ck it up.  I also hope Konami has a plan to make it a retail success.  Pushing M rated product on 3DS is risky --especially considering Castlevania's cult status.

As for dreams...  Well...  I dream Mirror of Fate is successful enough to demonstrate the viability of 2-D gameplay.  But I fear Konami's already lost their primary audience putting this on 3DS.  Not many LoS fans will abandon their 360s and PS3s to buy a 3DS for this one game.  I also fear too many Akumajo fans won't give it a fair chance --even when it's in their best interest to do so.

Mirror of Fate shines with production value --it may be the biggest budget 2-D Castlevania has ever had.

Expect bad news for Akumajo Dracula if this one doesn't do well...

Yet, it was there from the begining.
You're right. But still.. I wouldn't call Simon's Quest a fantasy game. Super Castlevania 4 doesn't have as much fantasy elements, as for example "Curse of Darkness".

Eh it worked for RE: Revelations, so much so that it's being ported to other consoles.

Those MoF screen shots are telling me to buy a 3ds xl right now.
So if it has convinced me to buy, perhaps others will.
Then again, some people will still want to hear recommendations and reviews from others.

I think a better example would be Dhuron, Slogra, and Gaibon.

The sprites are more or less the same sprites used in Super Castlevania IV.
However, the movesets have been expanded.

Ah, there's that condescending attitude, Sumac. :)

Sorry for doing this Jorge, but that guy will never understand, since the core it's the same, it's like a car, a porsche will always be a porsche, no matter how it looks outside. It never changed name or the core, so i fail to see and understand the above statement. Maybe i should call my pc a different name and not a computer, since it's not a pentium 4 anymore.... :P

-1's on both your posts? Someone's butthurt. Now if you'll excuse me I'm gonna go and fix that.
It is precisely because it never cared, that people do care.  It's something which it's lacking, because that which it has, it has lackluster of.
^^
You are now reading this in Robert Belgrade's voice.

Then Lords of Shadow 2 just takes a big, semi-solid, smelly, pea-green dump all over everything.

I would Love to a Ys (IV,Oath,Origin) Style Castlevania game, That Style Pushes a Jump style Platforming as well as Fun Beat-em-up elements for Regular enemies but a Strategy towards bossfights, plus the fixed angled overhead eliminates Camera Issues as well as grants the ability to sport a 3D environment with the given amount of detail from the Devs.
