My bet, Shanoa is a Belnades.  Albus is a Morris.  Barlowe is this games "insert evil old man".

Hmmm... New hunch.

Maybe dominus is the vampire killer (as said earlier) and Shanoa is a Belmont relative (like the morris's) and Albus takes it, knowing that Shanoa using it would kill her, as it did John Morris, because he roves her...

Shanoa's abilities are nothing like a Belmont or Belnades. As for Albus, I can't say much, because we haven't seen much of him in action. But it seems he is specialized in guns, so I don't really see what he has of a Morris.

Btw: Dominus... Dominance... Power of... ? But, nay, that wouldn't really make sense at all.

Wah, I can't wait. The DS- and GBA-games are played to death, Sotn is boring already too... And... Maybe I can play the Metroid games over again, but I have hundred of times, too. I could try and finish Richter lv1-cap, but, nah.

Belnades powers are displayed different all the time.  they are magic users, that is all that is important.  And the fact that Shanoa and Albus are code names means that there names will have some kind of importance.  Albus being a morris... I just made a guess based on his design.  He looks like he is from the American south west, the same place Quincy Morris was from in the Dracula novel.  Maybe he uses a gun before they get the Vampire Killer.  I mean I'm gonna guess that they were hunting vampires and monsters before they got the whip.  But as I said, just a hunch.

Hmm...what year did Bram Stoker's "Dracula" occur in, again? I wonder if there's enough time for Shanoa and Albus to make a baby Quincy, at least if Albus really is a Morris. n_n

Or what if Albus was Shanoa in disguise?! The old priest guy tried to kill her, but didn't realize that the whole time, the REAL Shanoa was Albus, and the person he thought was her was really an android?! That would explain the scene where he fights Albus!
