Topic: I knew it! Castlevania: Lords of Shadow!(SPOILERS HERE, PLZ USE THE SPOILER TAG)

I knew all along this was destined to be a Castlevania game. Not just any CV game though.... Since it's being made by Kojima I doubt it will be original as CV is intended to be. It'll be like the New Ninja Gaiden Series great but not original as the NES Types.

I think most people suspect Gabriel will become the "Lord of Shadows." He's searching for a cursed artifact while trying to fight the demons of his revenge-focused conscience.

Those two things are a tragic time-bomb waiting to happen.

Well if I remember from the trailer

At the end Gabriel is talking to a woman

"the mask is a powerful device"
"can it really bring the dead back?"

Then Capt Picard says "don't you see Gabriel, You can bring her back!"

Now I have a feeling they don't really much about the mask other than perhaps it could bring the dead back.

Hello guys.. Did you notice that in the "Don't you see Gabriel? You can bring her back!" segment of the trailer, there's a blue fire in the background which resembles the candles from 3D Castlevanias? Just wanted to point it out. What do you think about it?

It can be, but in any case the subweapons are powered by hearts, and both of them come mainly from candles. Seriously, there's no need for more magnetic red orb nonsense when breaking candles is already a cool way to get hearts and items concealed from the player's view in occasionally challenging places to reach.

We just don't know yet. Gabriel certainly isn't using any subweapons in the videos, nor are there any candles in the rooms he visits.

But this is still early footage.

In the trailer, Gabriel is battliing the big spider with sprinklings of green water (notice the two splashing sound effects). This suggests the presence of the holy water subweapon.

From what I can tell, that's just Gabriel hitting the spider with the whip, and it's green blood is splurting out.

He better have subweapons. If you look at him you can see all kinda smaller weapons hangin on him. Namely daggers and round things that look like they could be holy water
