I think this is a game that will be sold by its looks; sure, every reviewer on earth will initially approach it as "meh, another 3D CV" or "meh, another GOW clone" or "meh, WHERE'S MY ALUCARD? YAMANE COME BACCK YOU MAEDE AZOME ARTZ FTW!" however, the only thing I don't DOUBT at all in this game is that the closing moments are sure to be as epic as it gets, hey, even the rock titan's fight is too epic for some, there are 2 more, that dragon, the bosses, Dracula's last form... I'm sure that, by the end of the game, you'll feel soo amazed by it's shining moments that you'll forget you were playing "another GOW clone" 20 hours before  :)

These videos are really very encouraging --still amazes me they got Sir Patrick Stewart to narrate this.  I wonder if he ever heard of Castlevania before getting this gig?

This is the longest September. Ever.

The past couple of years for me have gone by rather quickly, but waiting for Castlevania is just making time slow to a crawl, and it gets slower everyday. I'm probably going to end up spoiling the game before I get to play it like I do with most games I look forward to, no way in hell am I going to survive the wait without something being spoiled for me. I have an additional week and a half too until my birthday comes up to play it.

Thank goodness the free demo is out soon.

I sometimes wish the rainy village was more like an explorable level than a battle arena.
Like, you could work your way through the village streets, killing little werewolves, and then only the GIANT WOLF would show up at the very end, by the gate. But judging by the other gameplay videos, I guess this tutorial is the only one of its kind, and the other levels will be like real levels.

I feel September actoolee passing by pretty fast.

I highly doubt Patrick Stewart knows or cares about CV series. Doing LoS is just a paycheck for him. Just like how Hugo Weaving doesn't give a shit about Transformers, he was just hired to do a voice.

Cox said that Carlyle fell in love with the saga, and that Jason really felt touched by the plot, so Sir Stewart is just too much impenetrable perhaps?  ;D

Just switched my reservation at Gamestop to the COllectors Edition...

If you haven't already, reservations land you a rather sweet T shirt as well....

Stewart is a highly respected Shakespearean actor --with Hollywood and Broadway credits to his name.  It may be a paycheck, but he hardly needs it.  There must be more to this --just how much could Konami have paid him?

He also lent his voice to Family Guy, he didn't need that paycheck neither. Maybe he just likes doing voice-overs like many other actors (plus, it requires no wardrobe, makeup, etc.)

Perhaps the same could be said of all voice actors.

yeah you're right the same could be said of all voice actors, you reminded of when I read about Metal Gear Solid's voice actors apparently David Hayter, the guy who voices snake in every game is the only Metal Gear voice actor that have played and beaten every MGS game released. I guess the rest don't really give d*mn, it is a job that pays. how cool is it to play and beat a game where you voice the protagonist?

Doesn't knowing how everything ends sorta spoil it for him?
