Medusa heads were in LoD and C64, but of course they sucked in both, they were annoying alright but in a way a guy would expect. I doubt we'll ever see them in this game, with this games engine and combat system I don't a Medusa head or flea man is gonna fit.actually I'm glad I heard something like that, I was too worried Konami was trying to disown us fans for prettier orphans. as in focusing too much of their attention on newer blood. I do understand of course if they wanted to do that, no matter how much a fan may love the series he cannot get them millions, the other guys can. so...you try to meet their demands.
Well, if they have a NEW enemy that is LIKE the Medusa Head, they could've very well put the Medusa Heads in there. My guess is that they wanted something original(like many of the monsters in this game).
As of Medusa Heads in 3D, you could change the battle tactics just like most of the 3D enemies in all 3D CV games. I would've thought the perfect Medusa Head 3D design would be something like the Spirits from the 3D Iga-vanias, which kinda home in on your character.
Cox said something in an Interview that the game was set in an alternate universe and completely out of the timeline so unfamiliars can "hop on". well I was wondering...since when does castlevania require anyone to have played the previous titles or know anything of the title? every game I played just explained everything again. so if this was a timeline game and for example...CV4 Simon in 3D instead of Gabriel wouldn't it still have the same impact on people who never played the game?
Cox using Marvel's Ultimate universe as an example leads me to believe that the classic CV canon is NOT done yet, and that Cox's CV will exist as an alternate universe to the classic CV canon universe(kinda like how Mega Man's universe is different than Mega Man Legends universe, which is different than the Battle Network universe).
Gerard Butler? What could have been...a Scottish sounding Gabriel. I'm tempted to reference 300 but I'll restrain myself.
Robert Carlyle's Scottish too. What are you talking about?
