Not for nothin', but not liking something is no reason to avoid posting your opinion.

Wow, i cant believe the hate this game is receiving. If you dont like it dont post. At least try to put it down nicely, not like some rabid posters i see here.

Dude, don't even. People wouldn't be nearly as bitter in some of their responses here if they weren't dealing with a certain king of apologist fanboys. The guy's unbearable even to those who LIKE the game.

Queen.

I know what he said, and I choose to believe he's full of it. Wouldn't be a stretch.

The concept is just bizarre, and I think it's how they can explain why nothing new was made for the game. "The game is based on information recorded from history brought to life, see!"

Judgment, minus the wacky character designs, at least explained some reason for the story, and contributed to some plot points throughout the chronology of the series. Sure, it's good HD isn't really canon, but it's a bit weird when Judgment got a lot of flack for the strange deviations it took with the series but HD is being given a free pass by some. Maybe because it's making a smaller splash to fans?
because its Koijima doing the artwork, and its an IGA game, and thus, disilusioned LoS players who think it "doesnt feel like the IGAvania I know! waaaaa!" are flocking to the game that they know.
Laura and Gabriel arrive in the deepest cave of the castle and... they find IGA.

I loled at Judgement Story. ;D They based a character storyline solely on boobs. IGA and his crew must have been on crack on that one. ;D
Im not hating but i find it utterly funny xd

It's somewhat OK, the story.
The boobs part is only Maria's part and in RoB she was always a joke type of character.

It's been a long time since I posted on this forum. As for this game, I dig it for the purpose it serves. A mindless multiplayer "party" game, so it makes sense to me the story is totally irrelevant (Ala games like Marvel vs. Capcom, Mortal Kombat vs. DC, Mario Party, Smash Bros., Etc.) and not meant for hardcore fans. I'd imagine IGA & Konami will get around to making a serious 2D game one of these days when this whole "casual" phase dies down a little (The fighting game, rail shooter, slot machines, a 3D game that was actually pretty solid, etc.).

It's bullshit fun and playing it at a friend's made for some amusing stories (Mainly his 400 or so attempts for the Valmanway.). Of course the thing I find baffling so far is that it's still ONLY on The XBox Live Network or whatever the hell it's called. That is unless 90,000+ copies sold isn't considered a success. Not to mention it's much more entertaining in a multiplayer format save for first-time players trying to catch up and wondering why everyone moves so damn fast and kills Dracula in like a minute  ;D.

I myself found the this game mediocre but I think people make too much of an effort to berate those who enjoyed the game it's ok to blame the game but don't call someone an idiot or a fanboy for liking it :) I can't tell you how much times I've been to this forum without hearing someone praise the game and people replying boo it sucks :-\ seriously to each his own

General praise is OK.

Essentially referring the game as the de facto Castlevania "Must Have" game, calling people who dislike the game as "not true fans", and overly praising the game in every post and not posting in any other thread in the forum at all... can get a little bit obnoxious and irritating.  Also, not recognizing a game's shortcomings and dismissing them as 'hate' or 'you're not a real fan' statements doesn't help.

Yeah that's true I'm not the game's biggest fan myself and Iga could've done so much better and your  right the over the top and sometimes blinded praise is almost as obnoxious as the condescending hate

Chapter 10 has been released and it is based on the WHOLE CV1 map, including all bosses and enemies from the original game! Awesome. Now, I need to see it!

Wow, it's so weird-looking without stair tiles...
So it's not a complete Copy/Paste.  It's more like Copy/FrankensteinPaste.
