Not un-necessarily either. The important thing is that the location of at least one model is known. Just finding the data can sometimes be the biggest pain in the ass.

Its unlikely. It would have to be the same exact format, and structure. 3D models aren't interchangeable just because they're 3D models.

While uzo is right, the community has found out that there are some standards in the way 3D models are done, even between different companies.  This is probably why those mods that put Castlevania Judgment characters into Resident Evil 4 look pretty proper.

Sometimes they can be interchanged, like taking Monster Hunter Tri models and putting them into Brawl.  Other times there are points you need to edit so that they work together better, and other times it's high on the incompatibility.  CVJudgment models appear to be 11 times smaller than Brawl models, etc. from what I've read.

EDIT: Also, we're going off topic from this thread.  Any further discussion about hacking models should go on the other thread I made already in progress.

new confession(s): when i wear my p-coat in public, sometimes i pretend i'm Juste Belmont or Alucard
I've never watched a single episode of Captain N, so all the Simon references people make go right over my head
i skipped all the annoying puzzles in LoS
i used to make mini cardboard-cutouts of the artworks of Castlevania characters & "play" with them
i have never finished CV64, despite having the cartridge in my N64 always ready to play. i've never gotten past the hedge maze ):
for a while i tried restoring the official image of Sonia Belmont in high-resolution, but eventually abandoned the project. the file has been saved on my comp untouched for at least 6 years
despite owning all the issues of The Belmont Legacy, i've never actually read any of them
true or false: i own the LoI Japan-only cellphone comic, but refuse to upload any of the images

I thought I remembered "reading" it on the Dungeon years ago, but apparently it was just a short review of sorts.

Coulda sworn I saw the full-on uncensored images on the site, or maybe someone posted them on the board.

Heh, if that's true, then you sound just like my friend. He has it, but apparently can't be bothered to upload the images or translate it : p
From what I can remember him telling me about it, there's actually some pretty interesting content in there.

Affirmative. My contacts also provided me with a lot of interesting information.

For example, did you know that:

  • The Crimson Stone was a relic passed down in Elizabetha's family?
  • Joachim is 300 years old?
  • Walter's mother is called Bianca?
  • The origin of The Forgotten One is tied to Walter's past?
  • Medusa is actually an entity that consists of many souls?

Confessions,
I think that LoI is a great game, but story-wise; retarded for trying to be an origin story but brings up more questions than questions answered.
I have Succubi pics in my fap folder
I like LoS storyline of Belmont-Dracula
Judgement would have been amazing if the mechanics were good and ditched Death-Note's art direction, Aeon could have easily been tied in with St. Germain.
Everyone wants to see the 1999 war with Julius and Dracula, I wanna See the Galamoth wars and Death vs. Time Reaper
I wish Getsu-Fuuma-Den Gets a remake
Still to this day I believe Hellsing (anime) Ripped off Castlevania
despite it being a lazy rip-off, I loved Harmony of Despair

Still to this day I believe Hellsing (anime) Ripped off Castlevania

Whuh? How? I think having Dracula go under the code-name "Alucard" was more a homage than a ripoff, one of the final chapters in the manga (a flashback to Dracula's origin story) is even named "Castlevania". I think Kouta Hirano took inspiration from many places, like his mercenaries are inspired by and named after those in the film The Wild Geese, but he was too open about it for them to really be called ripoffs. Then again I think Tarantino rips off exploitation movies a lot so maybe the line between homage and ripoff is a thin one defined by personal taste and interpretation to some degree.
But let's not forget naming the son of Dracula "Alucard" in Castlevania itself was a reference/homage to the 1943 Son of Dracula film.

I guess my confession would just be that I'm still not skilled enough and or haven't been seriously gaming long enough to beat a lot of the games in the series. Including some of my favorites like Castlevania 3.
