-I like SOTN, but I hate the big empty areas, where you have to wander around with the bat for 100% completion. It just takes a long time, and there isn't much to gain from it besides better defense from the Walk Armor and a better ending.
-Whenever people insist that something romantic happened between Alucard and Maria, I get angrier than I should.

-I am eagerly awaiting a hacked version of Castlevania Judgment, since I actually like the gameplay.  Keep Carmilla and Sypha the same though; just give 'em alternate costumes from the series.  If the Smash Brawl modders can do it, it should be the same for CVJudgment.

This. And on a not entirely unrelated note, if one of those same modders could put back Rygar's original gladiator model that would be great. I hate the douche-baggy 'upgrade'.

OFF TOPIC

EDIT: I will make a new topic for this, as not to veer off from the Confessions topic.  NEW TOPIC HERE!!

The OPPOSITE is actually what's happening.  Models of characters from CVJudgment are showing up in other games:

Someone at this forum hacked Cornell's character into Vega's, with nice results:

That is disgusting. But at least I know now that if they can be extracted. And if they can be extracted, then they should be able to be inserted, too.

Not necessarily. It's easier to take more data (in game model) and make less data (general model rip) from it, than to take less data and make more data from it.

Not un-necessarily either. The important thing is that the location of at least one model is known. Just finding the data can sometimes be the biggest pain in the ass.

-Whenever people insist that something romantic happened between Alucard and Maria, I get angrier than I should.

That romance, if it was one, was incredibly bizarre. I didn't even know either of them had any romantic intentions at all until the very end when Maria went to follow Alucard. I suppose Alucard's "unnatural beauty" put some kind of spell over Maria? If that's so, one must wonder about the validity of the entire relationship, if there is one. Which, if the radio drama is to be taken into account, they are living together after the events of Symphony of the Night, even though Maria is frustrated with the relationship.

I guess Maria was only 17 during the events of Symphony of the Night, so she could have just had a normal monster infatuation. Alucard just never told her to get lost, I suppose. And can you blame him? : p

So yeah... I'm left not knowing exactly what to think about all of that. I guess we can chalk all of it up to ham-handed narrative that ungracefully doesn't explain much of anything regarding that, nor give proper allusions to it before just dropping a bomb on us all of a sudden.

-I kind of liked the Sonia + Alucard romance in Legends.

-On the other side of the coin, I have never understood how people paired Maria and Alucard as a romantic couple. Alucard doesn't seem even a little bit interested in getting with someone and reproducing in SotN. He's polite, but he's definitely got his priority list, and a romantic anything doesn't seem like it's on it. He's on a mission, and when he's done he just wants to put himself back to sleep like clockwork. Even if Maria is into him, it takes two to make any kind of romantic relationship.

Edit: Clearly, I'm not alone on my second sentiment. I didn't read other recent posts, so the Maria + Alucard comment is completely coincidental on my part.

I got to agree as well with the Alucard + Maria thing. The only reason they hint at a romance between the two is because Alucard is the protagonist, so he needs to hook up with one of the female supporting characters. The only appeal of the romance is that they're both attractive people. Then again, I don't understand why anyone would want to ship them for such a shallow reason.

Romance isn't exactly Castlevania's strongest suit. The only pairing I like is Hector and Rosalee from the manga.

I'm quite partial to Soma/Mina, but that's mostly because it probably results in the conception of my favorite character. I'm also very confused in regards to how I feel about Carmilla/Laura.

By the way, there is a group of fans for twitter who are asking a mention of Sonia Belmont in LOS 2

@CastlevaniaLOS Sonia Belmont is a character unjustly relegated from the Belmont Clan by Igarashi. Mention of her in LOS2 would be special..

Your favorite character?
Kid Dracula. He's got the right hair for it, and that's the only physical trait my brain registers with anyone.

Tbh I didn't like the Cod soundtrack that much. I enjoy a few titles like Mortvia Aqueduct, and I don't like most of the titles because they use too much guitar .
I never finished the GB games because well the Belmonts are too slow.
I didn't find Cotm that good.I like the DSS system, and the soundtrack,...and that's it.
I didn't like Castlevania 1 that much(I'm one of those who got introduced to CV with Sotn), but I really liked CVIII and SCVIV.CV 1 didn't give me that WOW reaction, while SCVIV and to a certain extent CVIII did.
I liked Bloodlines and I don't find the graphics crappy. The sound kinda sucks but I like it that way(deformed sound).
I never finished playing as Richter in Sotn because well I suck when I play with him.
I liked LoI. The soundtrack is amazing, the story is not that bad, the gameplay is how I imagine whipping in a 3D environement to be like (although it becomes repetitive by the end of the game). And I liked the concept of Mathias becoming Dracula.
I totally agree with IGA about Legends. The Belmonts can't be related to Dracula by blood(Fuck you MS!!).

...Well that's all I can think of now.
Oh yeah and I hate MariaxAlucard. I just hate Maria (although her Saturn version is awesome). I can't help it.I'm a huge Alucard fangirl  ;D

I like PoR. I still find it very fun to play, and prefer it over DoS. OoE is still the best, though.

I find Simon's Chronicles design to be his canonical one in my mind.

Speaking of which, I actually play Castlevania Chronicles more than SotN D:

Juste Belmont is my favorite latter-day Belmont. Dawg is underrated.

I once tried to find the legendary Castlevania hentai where Maria does the minotaur. I don't know why.
