See I KNEW he was a Belmont =P
We DON't know if he's the Belmont. I'm pretty sure that he's not the Belmont because of the Vampire Killer whip.
I'm beginning to suspect that this game is placed after the events of Lament of Innocence, i mean, it has sense.

1- Dracula (Supposing that he's one of the Lords of Shadow) is taking over a vast region wih undead souls and curses.
2- He wants to wipe out the Belmont clan because Leon swore that they will hunt him.
3- The darkness is a susprise of the world, so, it's the first time that Dracula acted (Supposing it's in IGA chornology)
4- The visuals look a mid-age style.
5- Trevor was the first Belmont who killed Dracula; no one says that he's the first man to do it.

But, inside of me, I don't want this game to be in IGa's chronology; IGa's chronology is messed up, and this game seems to be full of twist plots.
I want LOS saga to be the ultimate saga, if it was my choice, let Alucard and other stories die; revive them with this new infunded spirit  :)

Everything comes full circle

...and it's a shame that more series don't use candles, because I compulsively try to hit them every single time that I see them. It's a sickness. XD

My guess is that ol' Gabe is a Belmont after all. I mean, he DOES have that chain whip...

This looks badass.

"I will wipe the name of Belmont from this world...FOREVER!"

...Dracula? Cause the part about humans being monkey's and being a god sounds like it could fit. (It reminds me of Lament, as well as what Dracula said at the end of Curse of Darkness...)

Either way, the trailer looks fantastic. The music is beautiful and the VA's sound great.

You guys realize that they are going out of their way to say this game is a re-imagining of the series.  I don't think it's going to connect to Lament or any other Iga game.  Hell, it may not even connect to the originals.

Yeah still very possible it's another origin story.

I am seriously hoping Gabe is a Belmont, iv had a suspicion that his weapon is a re-imagining of of the VK, mainly because combat cross sounds like a code word, somthing theyr calling it just so they wont give the alot of plot away

It looks great! But it certainly raises quite a bit of questions. As we can see, Gabriel is not OUT to get the Belmonts, most likely destroying the theory that HE is Dracula. However, it is not clear if Gabe is a Belmont or not. Zobek could be a Belmont, who knows. Anyways, seeing as Issac's character is against Gabe and the Belmonts, it is not clear if he is Dracula or some other evil force, but it is said he is a protagonist. Now, this could be an error, or it could be a spoiled plot twist. Perhaps he was originally a friend of Gabe. We will have to wait to find out I guess!

Also, let me be the first to point out, the talisman that Gabe holds up to the villager is identical to the staircase with the bird skull seen in the first picture from the new batch on the website. ALSO, Gabe has the bird skull as an emblem on his armor. Eh, EH?

No need to worry about Jericho's graphics engine. Jericho's easily one of the best-looking games that I've ever seen both in terms of model detail and special effects. The only problem with Jericho is that its game play was shallow. I like the game, personally.

All I said was that it reminded me of Lament and CoD, and that was only because of the dialogue with Dracula in both games and what was said at the end of the trailer. I never said it was sequel or connected to it in any other way. (If this is being addressed to me.)
