I keep smiling at all the 2D parts, it really does look great. I wonder if an entire game like that would work?

Absolutely, and they could add LOS' dept effect to the combat to make it more interesting

Jumbo sized special edition cover.  I like the artwork of gabriel but it would've been nice if the background was drawn as well instead of the same rendered picture of the castle as the standard edition.

The game already has a Hollywood score, so that shouldn't be a problem. I bet Patrick Stewart will narrate the commercial(s), too.

They're promoting it on that Gamestop TV. Looked awsome.

Awesome, I hope we start getting a steady stream of new info until October, but not TOO much. I don't want the game spoiled ahead of time.

Apperently a Finnish magazine did a preview of the game and made fun of the goblins, and how mercury steam was borrowing so much stuff from other games and not doing it well. Also how the post-stage "here's what you missed" counter is a weak design decision. Guess that's refreshing to hear for a change.
