Or is it perhaps Zobek Belmont? We don't know who's the Belmont here, it seems that it's not a reboot.
The spanish page Vandal made an article with few new details

Konami has unveiled nwe details about LOS. They also confirmed that the Belmont family will play a major part in the plot.
The new protagonist Gabriel CLAMIS THAT HE WILL ERASE ALL THE BELMONT LEGACY OF THE EARTH  - Note by me: Did Gabriel say that? wasn't Dracula? so the villain is a Belmont?? - Gabriel will be attended by an ally called Zobek; they will search the Mask of God to restore the dead's souls. Each Lord of Shadows has one fragment of it

I still don't think that Gabriel said that, it was Dracula... wasn't it?

We don't know if it's Dracula.  It's whoever says he is the new God and calls humans monkeys.

This trailer looked good until it got to the end, where the guy monologues about human monkeys not deserving redemption.  Once it hits that point, it felt like Castlevania to me.

I have to admit this game is starting to look a lot better. Up until now I've been skeptical at best, but this might actually be a game I could get excited about playing. I'm still not enthused with Mercury's smarmy approach to it, but at least they seem to be making an attempt to connect it to the franchise a little better now.

Here's a question.

At the end of the trailer, we hear the Voice say "Mark me well, I will wipe the name of Belmont from this world, forever."  Then the word "Revenge" appears on screen.

So is this Gabriel's revenge for his dead wife, or is it the Voice's revenge for whatever the Belmonts have done to him?

The new information, has strike my curiosity. The game play looks fine to me and the same goes for the music and graphics of the game. But i am confused with the voices at the end of the trailer. Who is the one that's talking about wipe out of the face of earth the Belmont's familly?

Oh well, that make sense if they are talking about the antagonist but the protagonist in every Castlevania is always a Belmont, Alucard or whatever, Dracula or the evil guys shouldn't be called "the protagonist" in my honest opinion.

So, that might means that Dracula is finally going to have his revenge. Sounds interesting to me.........

Interestingly enough, the whole "god" part speech does sound very Dracula-esque. "...monkeys have the mask" part also seems up to par with Dracula's hatred of humanity. Then, of course, there's the revenge against the Belmonts.

Actually, yeah, this game IS looking better and better. At least my worries were put out by more of the village shots, the church shots and the beatufiful exterior castle shots(with the swarms of bats flying around). That's pretty damn Castlevania!
