It is indeed a separate universe... that you can link into somehow in the MMZ Saga, which is hilarious. xD

It is not a separate universe. It is just ridiculously far in the future. The confusion comes into play as it was originally reported as such, but later corrected that it is indeed the far far future of the main universe.

According to gamefaqs user Shuo_Ragnarok, you can continue to rack up exp (albeit very slowly) during the on-foot section of the horseback stage if you choose not to counter when prompted. The horse won't show up and you can continue to fight wolves indefinitely.

The topic's right here, and the TC plans on uploading footage showcasing some of the buyable moves after getting enough exp.

Also, the only reason I would get the strategy guide, is just so that I can have it. I wouldn't use it, but I'd sure as Hell read it after beating the game or something. LOL.

Just my speculation
When I watch the Kojima trailer and look for possiblities that necromancer is death or not
I could hear these lines from the voice actor of necromancer.

"you revel in death"

"Look upon me, hypocrite!
Gaze upon glorious death!"

So necromancer is death? or Necromancer is a death wannabe?
We won't know until the 5th.

Also, notice the devil masked man(the guy everyone thought dracula was) has the same hands as necromancer does.

I heard LoS will be out same day as Ninja Theory's Enslaved. I wonder which one will come out on top, sales-wise... Personally I strongly dislike the character design in Enslaved. I love the genre though so I'll probably get it eventually. LoS is first day buy though.

Both of their hands are similar and wearing mummy bandages.

Again, THEY DON'T LOOK THE SAME. The hooded figure is the only one with the bandages, his fingers seem to be longer, and the nails are also longer and more twisted.

To those wondering about Necromancer:

The necromancer design has existed in CV before, and it's usually a robed hooded figure very VERY similar to Shaft's Ghost.

It has appeared in:

Castlevania: DraculaXX (SNES) on the regular (you fell off the pillars) Caverns/Swamp Stage:

Castlevania: Circle of the Moon


I suppose I 'could' see how people could confuse him with Death, however I think at this point he looks more like what the classic Necromancer's supposed to look like, than a version of Death.  By now I expect Death to take up half the screen, haha.
