if its a Castlevania Anniversary edition, that could be epic on PS3 and 360 if it includes:
CV1, CV2, CV3, Dracula X Chronicles (with original RoB and SoTN), CoTM, AoS, DoS, PoR and OoE together on one disk!

Reminds me of Megaman Anniversary Collection's menu. Just that was kinda crappily done.

In theory, MMAC was one of the best packages ever, but the sound quality was atrocious on those remastered soundtracks.  I'm getting real tired of these game companies that don't at least respect their art.

Maybe its a collection of older games and that's the menu, and the "paintings" are the game select screen... How fantastic would that be?

maybe they would redo one level from an assortment of old games as an anniversary thing.  kinda like the harmony of despair remixed levels, except more like DXC with a new 2.5d style instead of a straight sprite rip.

maybe beating a level would allow the hero of that game to join your party, kinda like wai wai world.  or unlock the original game.

Yeah... sound was atrocious at points and that horrible animated monkey gave me the heebly-jeeblies.

I'd like a new Mega Man collection made by Capcom internally with ACTUAL remastered soundtracks for 1-3, adding MM&B, 9, 10, the Gameboy ones, and an option to reduce voice volume on 8. Slap that shit on 3DS or Steam and I'm good to go.

They REALLY messed up the emulation on 8. They fucked the life bar colors, making it a piss dark yellow, and destroying the glossy effect it had, and they fucked up the sound, making shit like explosions obnoxiously loud, and speeding up the voices for the Robot Masters.

Also makes NO sense how 7, 8 and the Power Battles load instantly while the NES games take a while to load.

Also, all Anniversary collection really was is a shitty compilation of the 1-6 Complete Works re-releases but without a lot of the extra content. (like, helmet less Rock)

but to be fair, they DID give us a really fun navigation system for the menu, and the bonuses WERE pretty neat. You dont see much of that art even in R20 Official Complete Works. the remixed bonus tracks were pretty boss, and my only gripe was that there were system exclusive video bonuses. PS2 got a Mega Man episode, Xbox got an NT Warrior Episode I think, and gamecube got an actual interview with Inafune.

well, it looks like e3 will be virtually castlevanialess this year. pretty fucked up considering its the 25th anniversary. not even a 3ds title, I can't believe it. what a shame!

I guess this is false for the most part. A lot of the stuff he said has been proven false or was already known. (Mostly the stuff for the new WiiU and not the 'current' as he called it.) I guess no Castlevania after all.

Btw how long has it been since OOE got released? 2 years? Didn't think we'll have to wait that long without a entirely new 2D CV title. Hod doesn't count because it's ripping  of previous games.And the story is...well it doesn't have a story if you ask me.

Well with 2 or 3 days left at E3 I guess it is still possible we could see something but I doubt we will, maybe TGS or Gamescom?
